on april 21 in australia in the afternoon, the shenzhen-sydney investment & cooperation seminar, sponsored by invest shenzhen and the new south wales department of industry and co-organized by shenzhen economic and trade representative office in australia, shenzhen central asia zongheng science & technology co., ltd. and australian clean technologies association, was successfully concluded in sydney. about 120 people including mrs.wang hongbo, commercial counsellor of consulate-general of china in sidney, mr.paulhogan, director of business of new south wales department of industry, and hon. helen sham-ho, former legislator of new south wales as well as representatives from local companies and entrepreneurial teams attended this event. the delegation from shenzhen first did a presentation that comprehensively discussed the advantages of the integrated business environment and development opportunities for strategic emerging industries in shenzhen, before the presentation shifted to focus on shenzhen, which as the unique "center of technology and industrial innovation" in china, is the idealchoice for overseas technology companies and entrepreneurial teams looking to conduct businesses in china. in addition, two australian business representatives, pacific environment and innohub, were invited to share their investment success in shenzhen. during the free interaction segment, participants expressed great interests in shenzhen and what it has to offer. they exchanged their business cards, and consulted the shenzhen’s delegation on related investment matters in shenzhen. after the seminar, local media like the australian new express dailydida special report on the event, which was well-received by the public.
