chen biao attended the boao forum for asia held in hainan. during the forum, mr. chen (at the invitation of invest shenzhen) launched investment promotion activities in cities including haikou and sanya. the aim was to accelerate a series of major projects and introduce enterprises that are aligned with shenzhen's industry development strategy. during this visit mr. chen focused on the yingli group and the hna group.
on march 24, the delegation which included mr. chen and wang youming (director of invest shenzhen) visited the yingli group and talked with senior management of the group including wang xiangdong, chairman of the board of directors and general manager. during the meeting, zheng xiaoqiang (deputy general manager) of the group presented the yingli group's profile, leading technologies and its plan to build the shenzhen hq with the promotion of invest shenzhen. yingli group hopes that the shenzhen hq can help the group tap in to shenzhen's innovation, financial and talent advantages.
on march 25, the delegation visited the sanya phoenix international airport and the hna tour group training center. during the visit, mr. chen held a talk with tian liwei (vice chairman of the group) and listened to the report on plans and progress of its businesses and investment in shenzhen. mr. chen welcomed hna tour to do business in shenzhen and looked forward to the discussion between hna tour and the shenzhen municipal government on a joint venture for qianhai airlines.
