on november 12, wang youming, director of invest shenzhen met with a delegation led by archie johnston, vice-president of the university of sydney and director of the engineering and information department. professor zy dong, president of the school of electrical and information engineering was also present. both parties outlined the characteristics of shenzhen and the university of sydney and exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including co-establishing specialist schools in cooperation with shenzhen and sidney schools, co-establishing research institutes and creation centers between the schools and enterprises, applications of scientific and technological achievements, and introducing university graduates into the workplace. officials from the shenzhen bureau of education attended the meeting and introduced incentive policies for establishing specialist schools in shenzhen.
