in mid-september, wang youming, director of invest shenzhen, led a delegation to visit switzerland and launched a series of investment promotion activities. to consolidate the result of the visit and promote cooperation with swiss hi-tech companies, swissnex china brought a delegation of swiss enterprises to visit shenzhen on october 27 at the invitation of invest shenzhen. during the visit, swissnex china and invest shenzhen jointly held the swiss hi-tech company exchange activity. pascal marmier, deputy consul-general of swiss consulate general in shanghai, attended and addressed the group. zhang feimeng, office director of invest shenzhen, introduced the development status and opportunities of shenzhen and encouraged enterprises in the two countries to strengthen exchange and investment cooperation in the technological innovation field. more than 30 swiss and shenzhen enterprises exchanged innovative technologies and products and their development plans, and explored cooperation opportunities. the activity was highlighted and supported by the embassy of switzerland in china and consulate-general of switzerland in guangzhou. before this activity, the delegation visited mindray and kuang-chi.
the delegation members were chosen by the swiss government from more than 50 hi-tech companies in industries ranging from health care and bio-tech to clean energy.
