on august 31, 2015, a delegation led by ms. noa heinemann, consul and head of economic and trade mission to south china of the israeli consulate general in guangzhou, visited invest shenzhen. ms. heinemann introduced the development conditions of israeli enterprises in shenzhen, and said that large numbers of medium and small enterprises in the city have a strong demand for israel' advanced manufacturing technologies; and that their consulate will be glad to establish a platform together with invest shenzhen to provide opportunities for investment cooperation and exchanges for businesses both from israel and shenzhen. jia changsheng, deputy director general of invest shenzhen, said that hi-tech is one of the city's pillar industries; israeli hi-tech enterprises possess strong front-end r&d capabilities and many of the world’s cutting-edge core technologies, but currently are not as proficient at technology commercialization as china. so the model of commercializing israeli technologies in shenzhen can help both sides achieve win-win results. furthermore, both sides also reached consensus on cooperation in advanced manufacturing projects in the future.
