on june 9, 2015, director of invest shenzhen wang youming met with a finnish trade delegation led by ms. paula parviainen, the finnish envoy to china. both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in creative design and green technology between finland and shenzhen. they also reached an agreement on jointly promoting the establishment of a coordination mechanism for the innovation & entrepreneurship express train between finpro and sino-finnish design park. so far, an art gallery for yrjo kukkapuro, a finnish national design master, a life museum for avarte, a world-famous office furniture brand, and a creative center for ed design, the biggest industrial design company in finland, among other projects, have landed in shenzhen. given a relatively strong cooperation foundation in place, it is high time to upgrade to the express train cooperation mechanism. finpro, finchi innovation centre, the finnish chamber of commerce, shenzhen industrial design association, among others, participated in the meeting. then, the finnish delegation went to the sino-finnish design park to seek potential partners for the express train project.
