on may 21, senior officials of invest shenzhen held talks with the delegation led by mr. mattias debroyer, the economic and commercial counsel of the belgian consulate in shanghai and the commercial counselor of brussels capital-region in china. the purpose was to promote the signing of a strategic cooperation between invest shenzhen and brussels foreign investment and the trade promotion bureau, while stepping up cooperation in the future.
deputy director jia changsheng welcomed the delegation and thanked mr. mattias debroyer for promoting cooperation between belgium and shenzhen and supporting shenzhen's economic and trade office in europe. mr. jia indicated that invest shenzhen will fully support the visit and encouraged more companies from brussels to visit shenzhen as a window for in-depth cooperation in fields including economy, trading, science and technology, and culture. mr. jia also exchanged views with the delegation on topics such as including consolidating achievements made during the china hi-tech fair, introducing significant cooperation projects, and facilitating direct communication between shenzhen and brussels.
