the wearable device industry serves customers in health care, law enforcement, remote medical and field service sectors, as well as average consumers, and is quite different from the traditional electronics industry. also, the industry is poised to create substantial investment opportunities in the future. hu yan, inspector of electronic information division of miit, praised the efforts made by invest shenzhen's in holding the forum and its active role in attracting outstanding industry resources. he also highlighted shenzhen's role in developing the industry and estimated the rosy development outlook of the industry. deputy direct of invest shenzhen jia changsheng briefed the gathering on shenzhen's business environment and the developmental status of the wearable device industry. he also encouraged overseas wearable device companies to operate in shenzhen.
an official from the industry division of economy, trade and information commission of shenzhen municipality then introduced the development plan and policies related to the industry. senior executives from industry leaders such as huawei, tianma and iflytek discussed different aspects related to tapping in to the development of the wearable device industry. in addition, the forum attracted numerous enterprises from both upstream and downstream industries.
