on march 17, 2014, deputy director of invest shenzhen jia changsheng, met with the delegation led by kristopher sanchez, director of international trade at nevada governor's office of economic development. mr. jia briefed the visitors about the economic and social development conditions of shenzhen. he specifically introduced the measures for and the advantages the city has in innovation-based development. mr. sanchez then expressed his intention to promote mutual investments between shenzhen and the state of nevada. both sides also discussed matters about deepening exchange of visits between government bodies, launching a shenzhen-nevada innovation and entrepreneurship express train project, and more importantly, promoting bilateral cooperation in e-commerce.
nevada is the 7th biggest state in the united states in terms of land area, has a well-developed economy, a number of preferential tax policies, and strong pillar industries including finance, conventions and exhibitions, and renewable energy.
