on november 29th, the "night of design: the business startup exchange salon of international designers" hosted by invest shenzhen was held at the shenzhen convention & exhibition center. mr. jia changsheng, deputy director of invest shenzhen and ms. feng changhong executive vice-chair of the shenzhen industrial design profession association spoke at the event.
some of the world's leading creative design entrepreneurs and internationally renowned designers were introduced to the favorable business startup environment, the competitive industries and the international cooperation opportunities in shenzhen.
nearly 200 top designers from all parts of the world such as the u.s., italy, germany and denmark and local enterprise representatives shared their experiences in starting up business and collaborating with local enterprises in shenzhen. the event was presented in a warm atmosphere by ms. xu gehui, the famous host of phoenix tv.
top international designers like mr.sridhar lyengar, head of misfit wearables china team, italian designer stefano giovannoni and ceo of the association of danish designers mr. morten grøn also shared their startup experiences. designers expressed their optimism about the innovation and design environment in shenzhen and their hopes for long-term cooperation with the city.
giovannoni will also lead an elite team of designers to set up a studio in the newly established sino-finnish design park in shenzhen.
