on november 18, the china wearable device industry chain development (autumn) forum 2014 was held at the shenzhen convention & exhibition center. the event co-organized by invest shenzhen and china electronics news and sponsored by the bao’an district government had the theme of integrating software and hardware resources to develop innovative applications. the forum focused on the collaboration between upstream and downstream sectors of the wearable device industry chain, technological integration, breaking market bottlenecks and optimizing the industry value chain. li ying, inspector from software and service industry division of the miit and gao guohui, deputy secretary-general of shenzhen municipal government both addressed the forum. senior executives from industry leaders including qualcomm, aliyun, oppo, mouser, synaptics and everdisplay optronics gave speeches on a wide range of hot industry issues, technologies, practice and solutions. the forum attracted more than 400 visitors.
jia changsheng, deputy director of invest shenzhen introduced shenzhen’s scientific innovation environment to the attendees and lu jixian, deputy director of invest bao’an explained related industry policies. the shenzhen municipal government pays great attention to the technological innovation of smart mobile devices including wearable devices and the development of the industry. during the china hi-tech fair this year, a massive array of the latest wearable devices was showcased in the center of the no.1 hall. shenzhen has recently established partnerships with silicon valley to provide services for new businesses around the world and plans to expand the service platform to countries including israel, france, germany, japan and south korea. in addition, shenzhen will release a series of policies to ramp up the development of sectors including robotics, wearable and smart devices, to help fuel industry restructuring in shenzhen.
