on november 14, invest shenzhen and the bao'an district government jointly held the shenzhen aerospace industry investment seminar. nearly 100 domestic and overseas industry leaders and organizations attended the meeting to exchange views and create investment and transaction opportunities. the deputy director of invest shenzhen jia changsheng addressed the meeting and introduced theinvestment environment of the bao'an district for the aerospace industry. during the meeting, air power australia, chinook helicopters and canada bdc aviation expressed their optimistic views on the development of the industry in shenzhen and signed investment agreements.
the meeting also forecast the future development of the aerospace industry in shenzhen from aspects including positioning, industry scale and development base. in-depth cooperation between industry leaders will accelerate the construction of the modern aerospace industry system, optimize the industry structure and strength long-term competitiveness.
currently, shenzhen highly values the development of the aerospace industry as a strategic industry. in december 2013, the shenzhen government released the shenzhen aerospace industry development plan (2013-2020) and shenzhen future industry development policy to support technical research, innovation, industry chain integration, construction of key labs and introduction of high-end professionals.
