sale of tickets for the transit trains started yesterday. the minimum fare for a 59-minute whole trip from futian to huizhou south is 31.5 yuan (us$4.56) while the whole trip from the shenzhen north station to shanwei, which takes 70 minutes, costs 45.5 yuan at least.
two pairs of trains — c6805/4 and c6813/08 — will run between pingshan and futian station every day, with a single trip costing 25.5 yuan.
the earliest train departs from shenzhen north railway station at 6:35 a.m. and arrives at huizhou south station at 7:02 a.m. the earliest train departs from huizhou south station at 7:20 a.m. and arrives at futian station at 8:17 a.m.
five pairs of trains — c7201/2, c7203/4, c7205/6, c7207/8 and c7209/10 — will operate between shenzhen north railway station and shanwei station. the earliest train departs at 6:55 a.m. and arrives in shanwei at 8:05 a.m. the earliest train departs from shanwei at 8:20 a.m. and arrives in shenzhen at 9:32 a.m.
starting thursday, when the new national train operation schedule takes effect, shenzhen travelers will be able to take high-speed trains to kunming, yunnan province.
according to the schedule released by shenzhen north railway station, trains g2924/1 and g 2922/3, between shenzhen north railway station and kunming south railway station, will be added to the new schedule.
the trip will take about seven hours, 22 hours less than the trip by regular express trains between the two cities.
trains g2918/7, between shenzhen and guiyang, will be extended to kunming and will be renamed g2926/7 and g2928/5.
travelers will also be able to take high-speed trains g71/2 and g80/79 between futian station and beijing west station.
futian station will also operate inter-provincial trains between shenzhen and hunan cities, according to the new schedule.
