southern university of science and technology (sustech) in shenzhen will enhance cooperation in student exchanges and research on neuro-engineering and environmental engineering with the university of queensland (qu) in australia, according to a strategic agreement signed by the two universities wednesday.
the cooperation agreement also includes setting up a joint neuro-engineering team between the queensland brain institute and sustech's brain research center, organizing seminars and academic exchanges in the fields of environmental engineering and electrical engineering.
the 17-member visiting delegation headed by professor peter hoj, president and vice chancellor of the university of queensland, also visited labs and attended a forum entitled sustech for the future organized by faculty of engineering, architecture and information technology (eait) and the faculty from sustech engineering. announced at the forum, the two sides will develop doctorate training programs and visit exchanges for faculty and post-doctorate students of the two universities.
