ji kaiting is non-executive director of logan property and holds 85 percent of the company's shares. the company's operational income was 11.1 billion yuan (us$1.82 billion) when it listed in hong kong last december, according to yesterday's report by shenzhen economic daily.
ji ranked 25th on the list with a net worth of 8 billion yuan. she replaced facebook co-founder dustin moskovitz as the youngest billionaire in the world earlier this year on the forbes rich list.
shenzhen is home to nine female billionaires, such as zhu linyao, head of huabao international holdings limited. zhu ranked eighth, with a net worth of 16.5 billion yuan.
zhu, 44, is the youngest self-made female billionaire in the world, the paper said.
four of the eight richest women in shenzhen are from the real estate industry.
seventy percent of the 50 richest women on the hurun list are self-made.
