the 11th conference on international exchange of professionals (ciep2012), to be held monday and tuesday in shenzhen, will include a section of booths dedicated to hiring recently graduated students from north america in local professional positions, shenzhen special zone daily reported yesterday.
more than 1,000 recent graduates are expected to attend the high-level job fair at shenzhen convention and exhibition center, conference organizers said.
ciep2012 will also include specific areas for the recruitment of personnel with high craftsmanship, a first for the conference. an exhibition of business schools run by businesses from around the world also will be new this year.
the conference will feature 60,000 square meters of booths, all of which have been booked. companies, institutions and organizations from more than 80 countries and regions, including more than 100 exhibitors from hong kong, will participate. more than 20,000 people are to attend the conference, including state leaders, human resource officials from provinces and cities in china and representatives of foreign experts' affairs agencies, which work with high-level professionals from overseas.
the conference has been held annually since it was founded by the state administration of foreign experts affairs in 2001. shenzhen is the long-term host city for the event, viewed as a significant national and international conference of professionals.
